Artistic Polysemy

Artistic Polysemy is an approach developed by Rafael Patarroyo, based on the idea that the metal structure and the canvas do not form a simple support, but an active system for generating meaning. Form, volume and tension become elements that directly influence how the artwork is perceived.

In his creative journey, Rafael Patarroyo discovered in the metal rod a singular means of expression. Shaped like a sculptural line, it allows him to go beyond the traditional pictorial frame and introduce organic forms that enrich the reading of the work.
